The pandemic has given us lots of time to think and reminisce. We contacted people we haven’t seen or talked to for a while. This connection brought us joy and a reprieve of sorts.
When you look at this piece you can focus on the depth of the turquoise or the lightness of the white and gold. The many layers of paint and texture invite a pause.
As with all my work, this is a collaboration with the canvas, paint and the muse…and of course, the viewer, who has the last word.
