Up All Night is part of my Aftermath series, created in the ‘aftermath’ of quarantine. A collection of musings on the world around me. I used to love the buzz, the noise, the music at night when I lived in New York. Now; I enjoy a different kind of night sound, quieter but lovely nonetheless. ⁠

I’ve spent a lot of time over the past year in quiet contemplation. There has been a lot less hustle and bustle, and as things start to open back up I find that I’m missing the stillness. I am trying to find ways to incorporate that into my daily routine. Do you make time to meditate? What helps you feel centered? ⁠

We come here to get clarity, to refresh and disconnect. We watch the surfers, hike and watch the ocean. Walking on the beach, drinking in the salty air, savoring the silence. ⁠

Sometimes we need to disconnect to gain clarity. This is our favorite spot to just enjoy some time off and get inspired. ⁠
