As much as I love snow, I love Spring! I've been inspired by the poppies starting to sprout up around town and the green in the valley that looks like velvet.⁠⁠

It's fun putting a collection together just for a season. Stay tuned for more 12 x 12 (s) on aluminum. Great to use for a trivet as they are finished with resin, or just hang... and since this is the time to start spending more time outside, you really can hang these outside... just make sure they don't get too much sun.⁠⁠

I’m always amazed at the evolution of a piece of art. What I start off with in my mind and what ends up on my canvas are often two different things.

For #internationalwomensday I wanted to introduce you to a very dear friend of mine Abi @abi_hodes. Really, more of a soul sister.

Just an amazing human. When we were both living in New York and it snowed we would meet in Manhattan for hot chocolate or soup. She photographed my first band “Wait Your Turn” and I modeled for her when she was starting out as a photographer.

The kind of friend you can just get together with and make art. The first photo here is from Jackson Hole 2020 👉🏼 more behind the scenes 👉🏼 my band 1988 👉🏼 modeling days circa 1993 👉🏼 hiking in 2017

Who inspires you to be creative? Who shows up for you anytime you need someone in your corner? In a time where we can’t help but feel disconnected, I’m making today an opportunity for connection 💕
